CSE operates several computer systems for use by students, faculty, and staff affiliated with the program. All hostnames are in the cse.uiuc.edu domain.- Taub : 3216-core cluster for large-scale parallel applications; see Taub website
- newton, raphson : 4-processor Sun V880 servers for computing-intensive applications
- picard : 4-processor Sun E450 server for student and class projects
- copernicus : 4-processor Sun V440 server for general use
- galileo : 2-processor Sun E250 server exclusively for file and mail serving
- kepler : Sun V120 server exclusively for web and ftp serving
- adams, cholesky, euler, jacobi : Sunblade 1500 workstations for general use located in room 4335 Siebel Center

the Workstation Services
